CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Two teenagers were shot Friday afternoon on the South Side.

A man and a woman -- both 19 -- were in the 9300 block of South Stewart Avenue when shots were fired at them during a "possible drive-by" shooting about 3:30 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss.

Two bullets struck the woman in the leg, police said. The boy was struck multiple times, with gunshot wounds to the backside and torso, police said.

Both were taken in "stable" condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for treatment, police said.

No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
