Man indicted in Oro Valley road rage shooting

Posted: Updated:

ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - A man has been indicted in a 2011 road rage incident in southern Arizona for allegedly shooting at an occupied car in Oro Valley.

Oro Valley police said Monday that 38-year-old Blass Delmissier Gonzales was indicted on one count of drive-by shooting.

Authorities say a woman and her children were driving in a Walmart parking lot when she allegedly was cut off by a man in another car on Oct. 19, 2011.

The man allegedly shot once through the car's passenger-side window.

Police say nobody was injured by the bullet, but glass from the broken windows was lodged in the driver's arm.

Authorities received information that linked Gonzales to the case and that led to his arrest in April.

Police didn't immediately know Monday if Gonzales has a lawyer.
