Philly Cicada Population In Short Supply, Scientists Say

Some good buzz for cicada haters!

You know the invasion you've been hearing about for weeks? Well, if you haven't been hit it -- it's most likely not going to happen.

The cicadas in our area are not part of the 17-year cycle of this year's brood.

Delayed emergence of the cicadas may have been caused by the cooler, wetter spring we've had.

Scientists say that Philly will see the most cicadas in 2021.
