Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

New information today in the deadly Center City building collapse.

Neither of the two demolition contractors involved in the collapse appear to have been paying city wage taxes, according to Philadelphia City Councilman James Kenney at a hearing today.

Kenney also accused the building's owner of picking the cheapest demolition bid.

The next investigative committee hearing will be on July 11, 2013.

The June 5th collapse at 22nd and Market Streets killed six people and injured 13.

A heavy equipment operator is under arrest in the case.
