3 weeks later, still no leads in woman's disappearance

TEMPE, Ariz. -

Saturday will mark three weeks since Adrienne Salinas went missing. The 19-year-old was last seen in the early hours of June 15th, and her family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to her being found.

Family and friends have been raising donations and they're hoping $10,000 is enough to bring Adrienne home.

Her father believes that someone knows what happened to Adrienne and he's determined to get that information.

"I'm in desperation, the whole situation is just a nightmare," says dad Rick Salinas.

He hasn't seen his only daughter in three weeks, but Rick Salinas is holding back his emotions for the camera.

"The only way I'm going to help her is by doing these interviews and keeping this story alive."

The carpenter quit his job -- and every waking moment is devoted to bringing home his daughter. He talks with a Tempe police detective daily.

"I've heard from the city of Tempe chief of police that he's from the area he's taking it personal as well as the detective that's on the case."

Last weekend over 100 law enforcement personnel from across the county canvassed the area where Adrienne went missing, near Hardy and University. They've also searched Tempe Town Lake. Last night her boyfriend took these flyers to Fourth of July events.

"He's out there passing out flyers. I know he was at Tempe Town Lake last night posting flyers talking to people, spreading the word. He's just like all of us, we do whatever we can besides sitting at home going nothing. That's why I'm doing this interview. It's all I got right now."

Adrienne's last phone call was to a cab driver around 4 a.m. on June 15th. She needed a ride to her boyfriend's house after hitting a curb and getting two flat tires.

The driver claims she never showed up.

Adrienne's dad says she is a responsible girl, a college student with hopes of becoming a journalist.

He's asking for prayers from the community.

If you have any information about Adrienne, call the Tempe Police Department.
