NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Pattie Mallette, mother of singing sensation Justin Bieber, has written a new book about her life's struggles and how she overcame depression, sexual abuse and managed to raise an international star.

Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom tells Mallette's candid story of overcoming difficult situations.

In September 2012, Mallette- who was 18 at the time of Bieber's birth- released her first memoir, Nowhere But Up.

With more than two million followers on Twitter, she  is hoping to inspire teens to persevere despite dealing with similar challenges.

Mallette will be signing copies of her book at 97 Warren Street in Manhattan on Wednesday, July 10 at 6 p.m.

In February, Mallette helped raise money for pregnancy centers nationwide as the executive producer of the short film, 'Crescendo.'
