Missy Peregrym: I'm Really Proud Of This Show

"I think it just kinda takes people down, it's the wrong focus." That's "Rookie Blue's" Missy Peregrym discussing why she's not into the idea of being a celebrity versus being an actress. Missy shared her thoughts on what success is with Steve and Maria and explained why she doesn't buy into the Hollywood hype like many others do.

She also talked about the great news she and the rest of the "Rookie Blue" cast and crew got yesterday. We also got an exclusive peek at Thursday's episode which involves Missy's character, anthrax laced heroin, and a freak out.

  • Peregrym played a recurring role as Candice Wilmer on the NBC television series Heroes, and starred in the CW television series Reaper. She stars as Officer Andy McNally on the ABC and Global Television Network series Rookie Blue.
  • In 2006, Peregrym joined forces with TOMS, a non-political movement dedicated to provide safe footwear for communities in South America. Peregrym has spoken about her experiences in Argentina and of its impact on the communities she visited.
  • On February 17, 2013, Peregrym won best actress in a performance drama, for Cybergeddon at the 3rd annual Streamy Awards.
