Secrets revealed: Making life easier for moms with kids

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

When Amy Curtis, a mom in Acworth, isn't chasing after her two boys, she's blogging about her adventures in mommyhood at RenderMeMama.com. To her, the site isn't just about documenting precious moments shared with her sons. It's also an ideal avenue to share time-saving ideas with other moms.

One great time-saver, Amy says, is her crock pot. She says it's a great resource for easy, tasty cooking that easily feeds several mouths. The crock pot's not only a proven money saver for Amy, but foods prepared in it are often ideal for freezing to eat later.

She also uses a nifty little sandwich sealer. These are often available for just a couple of bucks at the grocery store. And, while you're at the store, pop over to the pharmacy aisle and pick up pill bags. They are perfect for snacks.

Lastly, what no home should be without: chore chart.
