DETROIT (WJBK) -

Police said a white Cadillac may have been the second car involved in the hit-and-run crash that killed the "Eat 'Em Up Tigers" guy and "Dreadlock Mike". Late Tuesday afternoon, that vehicle may have been found.

James Van Horn and Michael Alston were colorful figures outside Comerica Park during Tigers games. They were found in the street near Gratiot and Russell early Saturday morning.

Detroit Police have impounded what they believe is one of the cars they are looking for. A black Dodge Avenger with New Jersey license plates and damage to the front end has yet to be found.

"This case has been special. A lot more support from the public then any other case," said Scott Sheets with the DPD Fatal Squad. "We have numerous people working on this case right now around the clock 24/7, and we're hoping a conclusion to what occurred fairly shortly."

Van Horn's family has also been touched by the kindness shown from a large number of Tigers fans.

"I never thought he meant so much to so many, but he loved everybody, and they're showing their love back to him," said Paulette Schreve.

A casket has been donated by Eternal Image Group. Van Horn's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church at 6330 Pembroke in Detroit.

Van Horn's daughter had a message for all Tigers fans.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really appreciate everything that everyone is doing. I am just overjoyed and happy and truly blessed," Schreve said.

If you would like to help with Van Horn's funeral costs, donations can be made at the C. W. Morris Funeral Home at 12700 Hamilton in Highland Park.
