Fast food workers rallied this week to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
"We can't raise our children off $7.40. It's hard to survive. You can't pay bills," said Taco Bell worker Shaniee Stitt.
However, some say higher pay is simply a bad idea.
Joining Huel Perkins and Charlie Langton to discuss were Rev. Willie Rideout from All God's People Ministries, fast food restaurant owner Paul Hubbard and Republican strategist Rocky Raczkowski.
Plus, the panel at Tuesday's Detroit mayoral debate found themselves the target of some verbal attacks.
"If you believe the fix is in, then the fixers are right here in front of us," candidate Tom Barrow said during that debate.
That same panel, which included Detroit News Editorial Director Nolan Finley, Democratic strategist Debbie Dingell and Detroit Free Press Editorial Director Stephen Henderson, joined us to take a closer look at the race for mayor, including the results of a new poll that show Mike Duggan is on top.
Finally, Charlie Langton took "Let It Rip" on the road and asked people whether they feel the minimum wage should be raised to $15 an hour.
