ALPHARETTA, Ga. -

You might do a double take if you see the Alpharetta Police Department's newest cruiser out on the roads this weekend.  But don't worry-- citizens didn't have to foot the bill.  The Lamborghini is on loan from a local dealer.

An Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesperson tells FOX 5 that the folks at Motorcars of Sandy Springs/Lamborghini Atlanta donated the decaled vehicle at no cost to the city or its citizens.

Officers will drive it in the Old Soldier's Parade on Saturday, and it will be at the city's National Night Out event next week for photo opportunities.  The vehicle will not be used for enforcement purposes, and it will be returned following the events.
