ATLANTA -

Looking for a better way to get out to the ball game?  The Atlanta Braves are pushing for a plan to build a Maglev train that would take fans directly to Turner Field.

Team officials say it would help fans avoid gridlock on the way to the stadium, and dramatically boost attendance.  Under the plan, the magnetic levitation train would run from the Georgia State University MARTA station to Turner Field.

Officials have taken rides on a test train in Powder Springs.

If it's built, it would be the first Maglev train in the United States.
