ATLANTA -

North Atlanta High School's new location will soon open its doors to students.

Atlanta school officials decided to move North Atlanta High School to Cobb Parkway, directly across from the Lovett School, at a cost of $132 million.

The 56-acre property will house about 2,400 students as the school moves from its old Northside Drive location. The new school is on the site that once housed an IBM building.

Media officials got a first-hand look at the new school on Friday.

The new school is 11 stories tall and will include a parking deck as well as state of the art equipment in the media and science rooms.
