Awkward Album Covers In Need Of A Stylist

Posted: Updated:

These days it feels just about everybody has a stylist, especially in Hollywood and the music industry.  It wasn't of course always the case, or if they were using stylists those stylists should have been fired on the spot.

Today on "The List" we're looking at some of the most awkward album covers where a good stylist would have been useful. By the looks, most of these coming to us from that fashionable period known as the 70's.

  1. First up, we have "Swamp Dogg" and his rat on album, this one from all the way back in 1971.
  2. Next we have "Carlos" I honestly couldn't tell you his style of music.
  3. "Dick Black And His Band" bringing us a taste of Dick Black, he does a lot of polka music.
  4. Here's "Gary Getting Down To Business" the business of what we're not exactly sure.
  5. "Tule Kanssani Kylpyyn."
  6. "Mac Gert Jonnys" this was a Swedish Dansband during the 1970s and 1980s.
  7. "Ken By Request" Only, i am thinking he's still waiting...
  8. This one is a compilation of "Music To Massage Your Mate By."
  9. "Meet Joyce" apparently like Cher she needs only one name, although here in the newsroom we've never heard of her.
  10. And finally "Jesus Use Me" by "The Faith Tones" which as Buzzfeed points out led to the creation of faith no more.

Again thanks to Buzzfeed for our list today, they have plenty of other album covers, although honestly some of them were a bit to racy for more T.V.!
