Authorities say an 87-year-old man missing for 24 hours from western Michigan was found in good shape 150 miles away in the Detroit area.
MLive.com reports that Willard Verstrat was with his car at a gas station in Romulus on Friday night. Sheriff's deputies say he has diabetes, heart problems and mental health issues and was in need of medication.
It's not clear if Verstrat stopped elsewhere before arriving in Romulus.
