HAMILTON TWP., N.J. -

After seeking the public's help, New Jersey State Police say they have located a woman who they say took her son during an unsupervised child visit.

Hamilton Township police said Sunday morning that Shakira Lovelace was believed to have taken her 2-month-old son, Emmanuel Lovelace.

The mother and son had been last seen Saturday at the Cologne Garden Apartments in Mays Landing, N.J.

Police say Lovelace never returned her son to his custodial father.

The 37-year-old mother – whose photo was released by police and was described as black, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds – is currently prescribed medication for undisclosed psychological issues, police said.

But Sunday afternoon, state police tweeted that Lovelace and son Emmanuel had been located unharmed, adding, "Job well done NJSP Missing Person Unit."

No additional details of where or how they were found were immediately disclosed.
