Soggy summer dampens spirits

ATLANTA -

Atlanta is on track to have more rainy days than Seattle this year.

According to the FOX 5 Storm Team, Seattle – a city notorious for its wet weather – typically has about 140 days of rain during an entire year. The Atlanta area has already seen 117 days of rain so far this year. In fact, it's rained 54 days since June 1.

The average amount of rainfall for Atlanta is 49.68 inches a year. In a little more than eight months we've already seen more than 50 inches. That means even if we get no more rain for the rest of the year, 2013 will still end above average in rainfall!

FOX 5's Morse Diggs talked to people about how they're dealing with all the rain.
