Police Arrest Man In Hamilton Township For Making Threatening Call

Police have a suspect in custody who they tracked down on state street in Hamilton Township.

New Jersey State Police say that just before 4:30 p.m. On Tuesday afternoon, police got a call from a person who made non-specific threats but using threatening statements.

Police tracked the car driving in Mercer County through Trenton in Hamilton Township.

It was here on State Street that police pulled over a maroon taxi cab and took a suspect in custody.

Its unclear if the suspect was driving or was a passenger, but police say there is one person in custody.

K-9 and the bomb unit also checked out the car. Police say nothing threatening was found in it.

Police won't give specifics about who or what the threat was made against. Stay with FOX 29 for more updates.
