Scotty McCreery: I Go To Class, Then I Hit The Road After

Posted: Updated:

Scotty McCreery isn't a lot like other college students.

He goes to class three days a week at North Carolina State University, but during his free time he does a lot more than just study.

He's recorded a new album, single and video, all of which are called "See You Tonight" and will be released on October 15th.

He's also been out on not one, but two tours.  One is a concert tour such as you might expect.  He's also touring Major League Baseball stadiums in conjunction with the RBI (Revitalizing Baseball in the Inner City) program, which Scotty says is aimed at "getting kids away from the XBox, and to the outdoors" where many of Scotty's fondest memories took place on various sandlots and pitching mounds.

Scotty joins Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone on Good Day L.A.

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
