Authorities are asking the public to help them find a suspect accused of robbing the Desert Schools Federal Credit Union near 56th Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

According to the FBI, the suspect entered the credit union on September 15 at 12:30 p.m. and approached a teller at the counter.  He showed a demand note that indicated he was armed with a gun and wanted money.

The teller complied and gave the suspect a known quantity of currency and he fled the area in a 2002 white Toyota Corolla or Camry.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 35-years-old, 5' 10" to 6' tall, 240 pounds with a dark colored beard.  He was wearing a black "Fox Racing" baseball cap with the "Fox" logo on the front, black sunglasses, long sleeve dark grey or black t-shirt with a pocket on the left side chest area, tan jeans and black boots.

If you have any information about this case, call the FBI.
