Ronald Homer, 30, died after falling 85 feet at Turner Field on August 12. Ronald Homer, 30, died after falling 85 feet at Turner Field on August 12.

ATLANTA (AP) - Investigators in the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office say the death of a man who fell over a railing at Turner Field has been ruled as a suicide.

Investigators said Thursday that they discussed the death of 30-year-old Ronald Lee Homer Jr. with his family last week before releasing their findings to the media.

Homer, of Conyers, died after police say he fell about 85 feet from a walkway on the fourth level of the baseball stadium after a rain delay during a game against the Philadelphia Phillies in mid-August. Police have said Homer landed in the players' parking lot.

Police have said no foul play was suspected in Homer's death, and no surveillance footage of his fall was available.

Investigators said they couldn't disclose additional details about Homer's death.
