LITHONIA, Ga. -

After spending days searching for wild hogs in a DeKalb County neighborhood, authorities spotted one of the wild boars hiding out behind a home on Thursday morning.

Residents of the Lithonia neighborhood tell FOX 5 they're ready to see the feral hogs go.  Trappers have been trying to catch the animals for several days after they were first spotted, and they got a glimpse of one of the hogs on Thursday morning.  All News 106.7's Carolyn Ryan showed FOX 5 viewers the spot where the hog was seen hiding behind a home live on Good Day Atlanta.

Trappers have been trying to lure the animals out of hiding in a wooded area all week.  A trapper from Northwest Exterminating said they'll keep an eye on the hog, and they may have to sit and wait until the trap does its job.  There's no telling how long that could take.

One homeowner said he spotted a hog much larger than one that was reportedly seen on Tuesday. He said it looked to weigh up to 400 pounds and had tusks.
