Councilman Offers Award For Arrest In Hit And Run Death

(FOX 11 / CNS) City Councilman Joe Buscaino will announce a reward for information leading to a conviction in the hit-and-run death of Emanuel Ayala. Buscaino will be joined by Ayala's family members.

The councilman will also call on Gov. Jerry Brown to sign a bill that would increase the statute of
limitations for hit-and-runs from three years to six. Buscaino plans to introduce a motion at Friday's City Council meeting asking that the reward be offered.
