With clients such as Cleveland Cavalier's owner Dan Gilbert, Israel Nordin and his brother have developed quite a reputation for themselves. Together they make up the Detroit Design Center.
Inside their Midtown gallery is a collection of some of their creations. Their clients each get a one-of-a-kind piece when they buy something commissioned by the DDC.
For almost 15 years the DDC has found steady work from business clients. If you think the brothers aim to take their talents elsewhere, think again.
"I think the biggest thing Detroit is missing is dedication. And that's one of our biggest attributes is dedication to this city," Israel says.
