Police Search For Man Of Interest In Deadly Fire

Police say a mother and child found dead in a weekend apartment fire were murdered.

The fire was contained to a bedroom of the apartment on Howell Street in Philadelphia's Wissinoming section.

When firefighters extinguished the fire, two bodies were found on the first floor rear bedroom inside the closet

Firefighters later discovered the bodies of 12-year-old Elijah Rosado and 35-year-old Atlanta Deveny

Deveney appears to have trauma to the head; however, the cause of death is undetermined at this time.

Rosado, Atlanta Deveney's son suffered stab wounds to his chest and neck.

Now Officials say 25-year-old Carlos Rivera is a person of interest in this accident.
