BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. -

Police are continuing to investigate a shocking discovery in a quiet Burlington County community.

On Monday, police identified the victim as 22-year-old Te'Aira Denise Earvin, who was a resident of Youngstown, Ohio.

Police say Earvin's body was found by law enforcement on Carriage House Lane in Riverton, between Lippincott and Thomas avenues, after a 9-1-1 call at 5:23 a.m. Sunday morning.

One neighbor told FOX 29 she heard three gunshots a little before that call was made.

This is the first homicide for the town in some 40 years.

Anyone with information that would be useful to investigators is asked to call Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113.
