PHOENIX (AP) - A convicted felon accused of shooting the parents of a 15-year-old Glendale girl he was romantically involved with has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 29-year-old Bryan Jay Boesch was sentenced Friday for attempted murder and sexual conduct with a minor.

He was charged with committing the offenses late last year while on parole after serving five years in prison for armed robbery.

Glendale police say a man and his wife were found wounded in their home on Dec. 20.

Prosecutors say Boesch waived his right to a trial and agreed to plead guilty.

His sentence includes two consecutive 22 ½-year terms for attempted murder and one concurrent 1 ½-year sentence for the sexual conduct charge. Boesch also must register as a sex offender.
