2 Wounded In Shooting At Horsham Strip Club

Posted: Updated:
HORSHAM, Pa. -

There was panic and pandemonium after a gunman walked into a Montgomery County strip club and opened fire.

Two people are wounded, and a suspect is in custody.

The shooting happened early Saturday night, and investigators are still trying to piece together exactly what happened.

Late Saturday night, police were still at the scene of the shooting, Double Visions strip club on Easton Road, after the gunfire erupted inside.

The business is closed as investigators try to find out why it happened.

"He was just going bam, bam," a witness said.

Police flooded the Double Visions strip club on Route 611 after witnesses say a man was buzzed in through a back door and started firing a handgun, hitting a bartender and taking another shot at a crowd of about 20 people.

Police say two were hit in total.

One witness says everyone was in shock.

"It was kind of surreal because no one knew how to act. The guy just came in there, he was calm, and he left," said witness Jarritt Boyer. "... I tried to stand in front of one of the dancers that I was with, and I told her it wasn't safe 'cause everybody was standing around. If that guy had an Uzi, there would be a lot of people shot."

The witness says the suspect walked backwards out of the club, still pointing the gun at the people inside.

Police say the suspect then led them on a high-speed chase through Bucks County, crashing his car in Warrington. That's where he was eventually arrested.

The conditions of the shooting victims were not immediately released. We're also told by police the suspect is a man in his 40s or 50s and may have had a prior issue with the club's management before this shooting took place.

The investigation continues, FOX 29's Dave Kinchen reported.
