Falcons take part in 'Hometown Huddle'

Posted: Updated:

Atlanta Falcons players had a busy morning out in the community on Tuesday.

The entire 53-man roster, along with the practice squad, cheerleaders and Falcons Women's Association took part in the NFL's annual "Hometown Huddle."

The event encourages players to go out and lend a hand in the community.

Students at Agnes Jones Elementary in northwest Atlanta learned football drills and got to take pictures with their favorite players.

Falcons president and CEO Rich McKay says the organization makes it a priority to help others.

Players also helped out at more than a dozen other places in the community, including the Ronald McDonald House, Project Open Hand and Crossroads Community Ministries.
