PHILADELPHIA -

These "Good Day Philadelphia" guests are in town for the Philadelphia Film Festival.

They are part of a new movie called "1982" that was filmed right here in Philly this summer.

The film was inspired by the director's real experience growing up in West Oak Lane with a mother addicted to crack-cocaine.

On Friday morning, we had a sneak peek at "1982," as well as an interview with actor Hill Harper, who plays the father in the movie, and director/writer/producer Tommy Oliver.

The film, inspired by Oliver's real-life experiences, is about a father whose wife suffers from a crack cocaine addiction.

Harper plays the father, who is trying to protect his daughter

In addition to his acting, Harper has four New York Times best-selling books. "Letters to an Incarcerated Brother," his new book will be available on Nov. 5.
