Today in honor of Halloween on "The List" today we've got a list of the creepiest places to check out in and around Los Angeles.
We start with The Queen Mary in Long Beach. Room B340 used to have a lot of spirit activity when the ship was in service according to one tour guide. Others believe the old first class pool was a vortex which allowed spirits to come in and out.
The Millennium Biltmore Hotel on Grand Avenue. The woman known as the Black Dahlia was last seen at the bar before her death...people have said they say a woman in a black dress wandering and when she was told to leave she walked into a wall and disappeared.
The Knickerbocker on Ivar Avenue. Back in 1936 on Halloween, Houdini's widow held her annual seance. A woman threw herself from the roof, and many have reported either seeing her in the basement, as well as unexplained shadows and window and doors opening.
The Hollywood Tower on Franklin. Apparently a lot of spirits live here, people report seeing the ghost of a man dressed in clothes from the 30's staring at the Hollywood Hills, then disappears.
The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. Marilyn Monroe lived her before getting her break, and people report seeing Monroe in Room 1200 where she stayed...either in the mirror or a little girl in a blue dress...The ghost of Montgomery Clift has also been seen here.
Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter for our inspiration.
