Sandra Lee Rebish - More Than Just One Of 'The Doctors'

Posted: Updated:

Sandra Lee Rebish is the sassy, beautiful doctor often seen on ‘Studio 11 LA' and on the show ‘The Doctors'. But don't let her good looks and fun attitude fool you. Sandra is one of the best dermatologists in Southern California. She followed her in father's footsteps. Her father, Dr. Soon Lee practiced in Upland for 25 years. Sandra took over when he retired and she and her husband have built an even bigger practice called, ‘Skin Physicians and Surgeons'. They do your typical cosmetic surgeries and also help patients deal with everything from acne to skin cancer.  Aside of her vast medical knowledge, I would say Sandra's biggest strength is her people skills. She's downright funny. Go to her for a simple pimple extraction and when she's done, she'll hike up her pants and say, "Yep, another life saved!" She just has that special gift of making her patients laugh, no matter what they're going through.

I recently photographed this beauty at her office and then we went outdoors for a sexy photo shoot.  If you know me by now, you know I always try to get my subjects to loosen up so I can get some sensuous photos of them.  Sandra was so much fun to photograph. She is a true beauty inside and out. We did the photo shoot in the parking lot of the Claremont Packing House on a Saturday morning because there was a gorgeous mural that grabbed our attention.

I used my Canon 6D with mostly three different lenses.  The 85mm f/1.2, 50mm f/1.8 and the wide angle 17-40mm f/4.

Of course,  the most important thing about any photo shoot is the lighting.  We used Profoto equipment and lighting Guru David Honl handled that part of our shoot.  How lucky am I?   Makeup was done by Jan Ping who happens to be Dr. Phil's makeup artist.  She was also my makeup artist when I worked for the magazine show ‘Extra'. Yes, I had a great team and we all had a wonderful time photographing Dr. Sandra Lee Rebish.

Officials say a 16-year-old boy is "lucky to be alive" and unharmed after flying from California to Hawaii stowed away in a plane's wheel well, surviving cold temperatures at 38,000 feet and a lack of oxygen. "Doesn't even remember the flight," FBI spokesman Tom Simon in Honolulu told The Associated Press on Sunday night. "It's amazing he survived that."
