Citadel Outlets is pulling out all the stops for this season's hottest free concert and tree lighting ceremony. On November 9th, 15,000 attendees are estimated to witness the lighting of the record-breaking world's largest Christmas tree, standing at 115 feet tall, and experience the free, outdoor concert headlined by American crooner Jesse McCartney, pop rock band R5 featuring Ross Lynch, "American Girl" artist Bonnie McKee and Nickelodeon star Leon Thomas.

"This year's record-breaking décor is the perfect, bigger-than-ever backdrop for the talented performers we have joining us for our 2013 celebration," said Traci Markel, Marketing Director at Citadel Outlets. "The annual tree lighting and concert has really been established as a holiday tradition here in LA."

The winner of OPEN AUDITION, Citadel Outlet's online contest for the concert's opening act, will be revealed day-of, just moments before they take the stage. Previous headline performers to grace the Citadel Outlets' stage include Big Time Rush (2010), Justin Bieber (2009), Ashley Tisdale (2009) and many more.

KOST 103.5 favorite DJs, Mark Wallengren and Kristin Cruz of the Mark & Kristin in the Morning will host the night's events. Following the performances, Mark & Kristin will direct attention the towering Christmas tree. All guests will be invited to participate in a countdown leading up to the lighting of the world's tallest Christmas Tree. Citadel Outlets' record-breaking 115-foot natural-cut Christmas tree is from the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. It spans 20 feet longer than an NBA basketball court and stands at twice the size of the famous Hollywood sign. In addition, the Center's Christmas tree is 40-feet taller than the Rockefeller Christmas Tree in New York City. In addition to the world's tallest Christmas tree, Citadel Outlets is also topped by the world's largest bow.

Event attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped gift donations for Toys for Tots, which will be collected by U.S. Marines throughout the night.

The majestic Citadel Outlets are located just off the Interstate 5 at Atlantic Blvd North at 100 Citadel Drive, Suite 480 Los Angeles, CA 90040. For more information please visit For updates on the tree lighting ceremony and holiday concert, please follow us on Facebook

About R5 Featuring Ross Lynch

Before R5 entered the studio to record their Hollywood Records debut album no one told them what to do. No one needed to. The band knew exactly what they wanted: to make an album perfect for playing in the car. And by that they meant summer nights, with the top down, cruising down the highway and cranking the music up. Not just loud. Louder. In its 11 tracks, Louder establishes R5 as the foremost up-and-coming young pop/rock band today. "We wanted to put out a fun album," says Rydel Lynch (keyboards/vocals) who, with her brothers Riker (bass/vocals), Ross (lead vocals/guitar) andRocky (guitar/vocals), and best friend Ratliff (drums) make up R5. "We wanted to make an upbeat and Inspirational album you want to play 24/7." Teaming up with producers Emanuel "Eman" Kiriakou and Andrew Goldstein, the members of R5 effortlessly express the spirit by which they live in their music. "We have such a good time together," says Riker. "We wanted the songs to make people feel the fun, too." Sourced from:

About Bonnie McKee

Bonnie McKee is a singer and songwriter who has co-written songs for an array of A-list pop stars, including Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and Taio Cruz, racking up eight No. 1 singles, including Perry's "Teenage Dream" and "California Gurls," Spears' "Hold It Against Me," and Cruz's "Dynamint" – in the process. Now the girl whom Rolling Stone called 2011's "Best Secret Weapon" is ready to step out as an artist in her own right with her single "American Girl," an anthemic pop tune that showcases her powerhouse voice, knack for big choruses, and nostalgia-tinged lyrical point of view. About Leon Thomas

Leon Thomas is a multi-talented Singer, Actor & Musician signed to Columbia/Rostrum Records.  Currently living in Los Angeles, Leon can be seen on the Nickelodeon hit TV show "Victorious" as the musically gifted Andre Harris.  The show has won multiple awards over the years and still is one of Nickelodeon's top rated shows. Leon's intense passion for music at the young age of 20 has allowed him to grow into quite an amazing recording artist.  Thomas plays five instruments, sings, writes, and produces all of his music.  MTV recently praised Leon's production on Ariana Grande's debut album after Thomas earned credits on five of the songs.  Prior to this in August 2012, Leon released his highly anticipated mixtape entitled "Metro Hearts." The lead single "Forever" instantly went viral along with a beautifully shot music video to accompany.  It was this "Metro Hearts" mixtape that opened up an opportunity to tour with Big Time Rush and Cody Simpson. Fresh off his new deal with Rostrum Records, Leon is preparing to release a monster first single entitled "Hello How Are You" featuring label mate Wiz Khalifa.  A full album is being planned for release soon after.
