Fire in Manhattan high rise

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The FDNY battled a fire high above Manhattan's East Side on Monday morning.

Flames broke out in a high rise building at 350 E. 53rd St. and 1st Ave. at about 6 a.m.

SkyFoxHD was overhead where firefighters could be seen battling the flames on the roof .

The flames reportedly broke out on a lower floor and may have traveled through an exhaust staff to the roof.

There were no reports of injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

    A big money management firm in New York City has been hit with a major infestation of bed bugs, according to Fox Business Network. Stock traders who do business with Pacific Investment Management Co., better known as PIMCO, told Fox Business' Charles Gasparino that hundreds of people have been relocated from one of the firm's buildings in New York City to an undisclosed upstate location after reports of widespread bed bug bites among executives and employees.
