A Long Island teen is accused of threatening a shooting spree at a high school soccer game.
Suffolk County police say that Mario Cernas, 19, made the threat in a Twitter posting on Monday.
Police say that the post stated the shooting would occur at a game being held at the Dowling College Sports Complex in Shirley on Thursday.
Cernas was arrested Wednesday evening at his Bay Shore home. He is charged with making a terroristic threat.
He was scheduled to be arraigned on the felony charge in a Central Islip courtroom on Thursday.
Police did not indicate if they thought the threat was legitimate.
