Westborn Market's stuffed brie recipes

Get ready for your holiday parties with these ideas from Westborn Market.

Brie and Fig

Recipe:
• Use 8oz. Slicing brie logs - Reny Picot Brie Brand
• Fig jam
• Orange zest
• Slivered almonds

Instructions:
Slice the Brie in half (length wise). Spread fig jam on both halves of the Brie.  Be liberal, this helps hold the almonds in place.  Add one tablespoon of slivered almonds.

Now its time to build your appetizer.  Place the two haves of Brie together (like a sandwich).  Then slice to cracker size pieces (about ¼" thick) and place on your favorite cracker or baguette slice.

Wine pairing:
Try this with a Pinot Noir

Brie and Prosciutto

Recipe:
• Use 8oz. Slicing brie logs - Reny Picot Brie Brand
• 2 slices of fresh Prosciutto
• Arugula
• Orange slices

Instructions:
Slice the Brie in half (length wise). Add two slices of Prosciutto, top with small amount of fresh arugula and two orange slices.

Now its time to build your appetizer.  Place the two haves of Brie together (like a sandwich).  Then slice to cracker size pieces (about ¼" thick) and place on your favorite cracker or baguette slice.

Wine pairing:
Try this with a Pinot Noir or a big Cabernet.

Brie and Smoked Salmon

Recipe:
• Use 8oz. Slicing brie logs - Reny Picot Brie Brand
• Smoked salmon slices
• Cream cheese
• Fresh Dill

Instructions:
Slice the Brie in half (length wise). Spread cream cheese on both halves of the Brie.  Be liberal, this helps hold the salmon in place.  Add one to slices of smoked salmon. Add sprig of fresh dill and add a touch of fresh lemon zest.

Now its time to build your appetizer.  Place the two haves of Brie together (like a sandwich).  Then slice to cracker size pieces (about ¼" thick) and place on your favorite cracker or baguette slice.

Wine Pairing:
Chardonnay or a Sauvignon Blanc

Brie and Pesto

Recipe:
• Use 8oz. Slicing brie logs - Reny Picot Brie Brand
• Basil pesto
• Roasted red peppers
• Artichoke hearts

Instructions:
Slice the Brie in half (length wise). Spread pesto on both halves of the Brie.  Be liberal, this helps hold the peppers in place.  Add one to two slices of roasted red peppers. Add pieces of artichoke hearts.

Now its time to build your appetizer.  Place the two haves of Brie together (like a sandwich).  Then slice to cracker size pieces (about ¼" thick) and place on your favorite cracker or baguette slice.

Wine Pairing:
Try with a Riesling or a Piesporter.
