Photojournalist David Honl: Covering Syria's Civil War

Posted: Updated:

Saying goodbye is never easy. It's especially difficult if you know the person is headed to a dangerous location. But if he is the adventure loving journalist, there's nothing you can do but wish him well.

That's the case with Photojournalist David Honl. David is returning to the Middle East to cover the ongoing conflict in Syria.  He plans on heading to refugee camps where thousands of families are staying after they fled Syria's relentless civil war.  The stories coming from that region are devastating and unimaginable for most of us living here in the U.S.

I'm sure David will come back with amazing photographs and touching personal stories. If you're not familiar with his work, check out my video. He has covered Iraq and Afghanistan at the height of the wars. His photos tell one tragic story after another.

Good luck David and be safe.
