A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly exploiting minors after meeting them on social media.

Lake Havasu City police say a 12-year-old girl told one of their school resource officers that she and a friend had friended a man through Facebook who they thought was their age.

The man, later identified as Joseph Piccin, allegedly pressured her into using Skype to talk face-to-face.

Police say during one of the Skype sessions, Piccin masturbated in front of the two underage kids.

Piccin allegedly found out how old the kids actually were, but continued to communicate and offer them gifts in exchange for sexual favors.

According to police, additional victims have come forward to report similar incidents involving Piccin.

During the investigation, police found out that Piccin allegedly provided alcohol to at least two minors after meeting them through social media.

Piccin was arrested at his home in the 1500 block of Palo Verde Boulevard on Nov. 19.

He's charged with aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation, sexual exploitation of a minor, furnishing harmful items to minors, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives encourage anyone who believes they have also been victimized to contact the police department at 928-855-1171.
