Man robbed outside of Union City gas station

Posted: Updated:
UNION CITY, Ga. -

Authorities are searching for two suspects in a vicious attack outside of a convenience store in Union City on Monday.

Snapple salesman Wesley Yates had just made a call at the store on Flat Shoals Road when two men attacked him outside.

Yates told FOX 5 the two crooks got away with his company issued iPad, his wallet which had $300 inside, and his car keys. He suffered bruises to his face and believes the robbers targeted him when he went inside the store.

As he was being punched and kicked on the ground, Yates says people nearby watched the whole thing, but no one tried to help.

The suspects got away on foot.  Yates describes them as about 18-20 years old, who were tall and skinny.  He hopes the dramatic surveillance pictures will help police track them down.
