Montel Williams: We've Added Things That Make It Real

Posted: Updated:

Montel Williams has launched a website along with a new web series. "Living Well With Montel". It takes Montel's signature talk show format and uses it to educate people about a variety of heath issues. The site then makes sure people get whatever facts they are looking for. Montel has also teamed up with a pharmaceutical company to manufacture and sell a couple products on the website.

"We're using their expertise and their processes to formulate all the supplements and the Nutraceuticals that we're making...a couple things will be product related but the majority of it is going to be just information."

Montel says allowing quick and easy access to information is the key to "Living Well".

"What we're also doing is we're making sure that we're providing information to people, the whole thing is "living well"...living well emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially and I'm covering every one of those topics..."

Montel also opened up about how he wanted as much information as possible when he was diagnosed with MS.

"I was diagnosed with MS in 1999...I had a doctor look me in the face that morning and say 'Montel you will be in a wheelchair in the next four years', so you really have to prepare yourself and get ready for this. I busted my butt trying to figure out what I could do to help mitigate my symptoms and that's the reason why I started this whole process of "Living Well with Montel" because what I learn I share."

He also talked about his daughter Maressa and her fight with cancer.

"My daughter was diagnosed now about a month and a half ago with Lymphoma...she'd been through 3 rounds of chemo, she's getting ready to go through her 4th, the last one was a little tough."
