Vanlandingham has an extensive adult criminal history that began at the age of 19. His convictions include writing false checks, hit and run causing death or injury, multiple burglaries, petty theft, driving on suspended license, reckless driving, DUI-alcohol/drugs, grand theft, numerous vehicle theft charges, violation of parole and fugitive from justice. Vanlandingham has served multiple state prison terms the longest a four (4) year term for vehicle theft. Vanlandingham was released from state prison to the supervision of the Los Angeles County Probation Department on September 10th, 2013.
Under the Governor's Public Safety Realignment Act of 2011, better known as Assembly Bill 109 (AB 109) the responsibility of lower-level offenders was shifted from the State to Los Angeles County. He subsequently failed to report to his probation officer and an arrest warrant was issued in November 2013 after Vanlandingham absconded from post release community supervision (PRCS). Vanlandingham qualified to be released to the supervision of probation, under AB 109, because his current commitment offense for petty theft with multiple priors falls under the guidelines for PRCS under the California penal code. His prior criminal history, and current failure to comply with the terms of release make him a most wanted. If you know his whereabouts please contact…LAC Probation Hotline (855) 563-7925.
