Aerial Yoga: LA's Hot New Fitness Trend

Forget the treadmill, now many people are flocking to aerial fitness classes to stay fit.   Aerial Yoga, or Fly Yoga is a popular way to elevate a traditional workout.  Yogi's use fabrics or a hammock to stretch into their poses and for support.  Aeriform Arts Fly Yoga instructor Jane Rose says, "people like it because it's challenging, and a great way to engage your core, stretch and focus on stability all while having fun."

Lea Walker opened up Aeriform Arts studio two years ago and says aerial fitness classes are gaining in popularity, "students keep coming back for more, because it's a great way to stay in shape without feeling like you're working out."
