Search for missing Rider University student

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - An 18-year-old freshman at Rider University is missing.

Lawrence Township officials say Sahbrene Elmahalawy was last seen on Sunday when she was dropped off by her parents on campus. 

Elmahalawy is described as 5'7" tall, 130 lbs., with brown hair, black eyes and an olive complexion.

She may have been wearing a hijab or Muslim head covering when she disappeared.

Lawrence Police and the State Police Missing Person Unit have reportedly searched Elmahalway's on -campus apartment where she lives alone. They found no signs of foul play, reported NJ.com.
