Mega Millions jackpot estimated to grow to $550 million

LOS ANGELES (FOX 11/CNS) - There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in Friday night's drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing will grow to $550 million.

There were nine tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, and are each worth $1 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game. Two of the tickets were sold in both Florida, Michigan and New York and one each in Colorado, Connecticut and New Jersey.

The numbers drawn were 19, 24, 26, 27, 70 and the Mega number was 12. The estimated jackpot was $425 million.

The drawing was the 21st since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.

The Mega Millions game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
