Memorial fund established for groom killed helping stranded motorist

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The familyof a newlywed killed when he tried to help another motorist calls his deathsudden and tragic.

William "Riley" Knight was hit by a car last week. He and the woman he was helping were killed.

Knight's family released a statement Tuesday, saying in part, "We are deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Riley. He died while helping someone in need, which befits his loving, caring personality."
