ATLANTA -
The Georgia Lottery confirms to FOX 5 News that one of two winning tickets in Tuesday's giant Mega Millions drawing was sold in Atlanta.

In a press conference held on Wednesday afternoon, Georgia Lottery officials identified the winner as 56-year-old Ira Curry of Stone Mountain. After selecting the cash option, Curry's portion of the $648 million jackpot is around $120 million (after taxes).

Curry bought the winning ticket at a Gateway Newsstand at 3500 Lenox Rd. NE in Atlanta, according to a spokesperson. The store is in the Alliance Center, a 22-story building.

The Georgia woman found out that she was the lucky winner while driving to work on Wednesday morning, according to Georgia Lottery CEO Debbie Alford. Curry did not make it to work, choosing instead to head home and contemplate her new fortune, according to Alford.

This is one of two Mega Millions tickets nationwide that matched all the winning numbers. A second winning ticket was sold at a store in San Jose, California.

In addition, lottery officials sat there are $1M winners in Columbus, GA and Winder GA. Additional winnings include 3 $20,000 winners and 26 $5,000 winners, all within the state.

The estimated Mega Millions jackpot stood at $636 million going into Tuesday night's drawing, but lottery officials say ticket sales were stronger than expected in the hours before the drawing. As a result, the final jackpot may be as high as $648 million. Either way, it will be the second-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

While the owner of the California store where the winning lottery ticket was sold will receive $1 million, Young Soo Lee, the owner of the Buckhead newsstand that sold the ticket to Curry, won't get anything except for publicity and the standard 6 percent commission all retail outlets received based on lottery sales, FOX News reports.

Here are the winning numbers: 8, 20, 14, 17, 39
