Detroit Public Schools holding online auction of surplus items

Detroit Public Schools is holding an auction of surplus and obsolete items no longer in use. The auction takes place online Thursday, Dec. 19th, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

You can also call Biddergy.com's office at (866) 260-1611 if you are without Internet access to make alternate arrangements.

The school system is looking to cut down the cost of storing these items and raise extra money for the district. Items include kitchen equipment; metal shop equipment; vehicles; automotive engines; and other supplies.
