A second alarm fire displaced 19 people on 215 Minor St in Norristown. Around 3:30pm the fire broke out in a townhouse and quickly spread to seven row homes. One 17 year old boy was flown to CHOP after jumping out of a window to escape the fire.Another resident was sent to Mercy Suburban Hospital. No word on the extent of the injuries.
Philadelphia Red Cross set up a reception center at Carver Center to help the displaced residents with food, lodging, and winter clothes.
