Queen Elizabeth II has declined well-wishers waiting to present her with flowers.

For the second week in a row, Queen Elizabeth broke tradition of accepting flowers.

A crowd of 250 people, including an eight-year-old girl who was in a wheelchair, waited outside church to greet the Queen.

According to Sienna Wheeler, the eight-year-old girl, it was just "lovely" to see the Queen. However, some of the parents of other kids waiting around were a little disappointed, citing that they've waited for hours for the Queen.

A spokesperson says that the Queen is grateful for the gifts, but doesn't accept them on all occasions. The children were allowed to leave their bouquets in a pile outside the church. Police told them that the flowers would be brought to the Queen later.

The comments on the Daily Mail story have been sympathetic toward the Queen's actions.

One person wrote, "She might not be taking the gifts because its Flu season?"

Another person wrote, "it's a private break for her and the Duke of Edinburgh. On that basis I see no reason why she should accept flowers when she comes out of Church every Sunday during her stay..."
