PHOENIX (AP) - A federal judge says he's concerned over the ongoing delays in the sentencing of the Fiesta Bowl's former top executive.

John Junker pleaded guilty last March to a felony conspiracy charge stemming from his role in an illegal campaign-finance scheme.

In February 2012, Junker pleaded guilty in Maricopa County Superior Court to a state felony charge of soliciting a fraudulent scheme.

Both pleas stem from a scheme in which the Fiesta Bowl reimbursed with bowl funds employees who made political campaign contributions.

Junker faces up to 2 1/2 years in prison on the state and federal charges combined, but his sentencings have been delayed several times.

Junker's attorney recently asked U.S. District Judge David G. Campbell to reset his client's scheduled Jan. 13 sentencing to sometime in May.
